Lady Anne Blunt

Anne Isabella Noel Blunt, 15th Baroness Wentworth, born on September 22, 1837, in London, was a translator, musician, artist, and breeder of Arabian horses. She is the author of multiple titles, including Bedouin Tribes of the Euphrates (Harper and Brothers, 1879) and A Pilgrimage to Nejd (John Murray, 1881), as well as the translator, with her husband, Wilfrid Scawen Blunt, of The Seven Golden Odes of Pagan Arabia, Also Known as the Moallakat (Self-published, 1903). With her husband, she founded the Crabbet Arabian Stud, to which most Arabian horses alive today trace their bloodline. She died on December 15, 1917.
