Katie Farris

Katie Farris is the author and translator of several books, including Standing in the Forest of Being Alive (Alice James Books, 2023), which was a finalist for the 2023 T. S. Eliot Prize for Poetry.

With Ilya Kaminsky, Farris has translated Boris and Lyudmyla Khersonska’s The Country Where Everyone’s Name Is Fear: Selected Poems (Lost Horse Press, 2022).

Farris teaches at Princeton University and lives in New Jersey, on Lenape land.
