K. Silem Mohammad

Kasey Silem Mohammad earned a BA in literature and classical studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, in 1991 and a PhD in English literature from Stanford University in 1998. 

Mohammad is the author of four poetry collections: The Front (Roof Books, 2009); Breathalyzer (Edge Books, 2008); A Thousand Devils (Combo Books, 2004); and Deer Head Nation (Tougher Guises Press, 2003). His work has been anthologized in Postmodern American Poetry: A Norton Anthology (W. W. Norton, 1994), edited by Paul Hoover. 

Mohammad is currently a professor of creative writing at Southern Oregon University.
