Julio Pazos Barrera

Julio Pazos Barrera was born in Baños, Ecuador, in 1944. A poet, literary critic, and connoisseur, he holds a doctorate in Spanish literature from the Catholic University of Ecuador. The recipient of Ecuador’s National Prize in Literature given by president Rafael Correa, Barrera has worked as a professor at various universities around the world.
