Julie Ezelle-Patton

Julie Ezelle-Patton is a poet and artist. She is the author of J Walking Through the Alphabet (Nightboat Books, 2026) and Yet To Be Named (Nightboat Books, 2024). 

Ezelle-Patton is the coeditor, with Michael Boughn, Roberto Harrison, Nathaniel Mackey, Ruben Medina, Philip Metres, Nita Noveno, Margaret Randall, Michael Rothenberg, Chris Stroffolino, and Anne Waldman, of the poetry anthology Resist Much / Obey Little: Inaugural Poems to the Resistance (Spuyten Duyvil Publishing, 2017).

Ezelle-Patton’s work has been supported by the Foundation for the Contemporary Arts, among other organizations. She has taught workshops at the Cleveland Center for Contemporary Art (now moCa), the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University, New York University, and Teachers and Writers Collaborative.
