Jon Loomis
Jon Loomis grew up in Athens, Ohio. He received his BA in creative writing from Ohio University and an MFA in creative writing from the University of Virginia.
Loomis is the author of The Mansion of Happiness (Oberlin College Press, 2016); The Pleasure Principle (Oberlin College Press, 2001); and Vanitas Motel (Oberlin College Press, 1998). He has received fellowships from the Ohio Arts Council and the Virginia Commission for the Arts. He has taught English at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire.
