Jean Gallagher

Jean Gallagher is the author of Rivermouth Shouting (Parlor Press, 2026); Start (Oberlin College Press, 2012); Stubborn (Oberlin College Press, 2006), winner of the FIELD Poetry Prize; and This Minute (Fordham University Press, 2005), winner of the Poets Out Loud Prize. She is also the author of the scholarly work The World Wars Through the Female Gaze (Southern Illinois University Press, 1998).

Gallagher teaches creative writing at New York University and lives in New York City.
