Jane Miller is the author of ten books of poetry including Paper Banners (Copper Canyon Press, 2023); Who Is Trixie the Trasher? and Other Questions (Copper Canyon Press, 2018); and Thunderbird (Copper Canyon Press, 2013). She is also the author of Working Time: Essays on Poetry, Culture, and Travel (University of Michigan Press, 1992).
Miller is the recipient of a Wallace Award for Poetry, as well as a Guggenheim Fellowship and two National Endowment for the Arts Fellowships.
Miller has been a professor in the University of Arizona’s creative writing program for many years and served for some time as the program’s director. She is currently serving as visiting poet at the University of Texas at Austin’s Michener Center.
