Jane Draycott

Jane Draycott is a poet and translator.

She is the author of six collections of poetry, including The Kingdom (Carcanet, 2022), and is the translator of the anonymous medieval dream-elegy Pearl (Carcanet Classics, 2019), winner of the Stephen Spender Prize. 

Her honors include the Keats-Shelley Prize, the International Hippocrates Prize for Poetry and Medicine, and a Society of Authors Cholmondeley Award. Draycott is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and teaches at Oxford University’s masters in studies program in creative writing. She lives in Oxford, England.
