James Whitall
James Whitall, born in 1888, was an American writer and translator. He is the author of the autobiography English Years (Harcourt, Brace and Company, 1935) as well as the translator of Chinese Lyrics from the Book of Jade (B. W. Huebsch, 1918), People by Pierre Hamp (Harcourt, Brace and Company, 1921), and The Reign of the Evil One by Charles Ferdinand Ramuz (Harcourt, Brace and Company, 1922), among other titles.
