James Hannaham
James Hannaham is a Black queer writer and visual artist. He is the author of three novels, including Didn’t Nobody Give a Shit What Happened to Carlotta (Little, Brown and Company, 2022), winner of the 2023 Hurston/Wright Legacy Award for Fiction, and Delicious Foods (Little, Brown and Company, 2015), which won the PEN/Faulkner Award and the Hurston/Wright Legacy Award in 2016. A Guggenheim Fellow, he teaches writing at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York.
