James Hannaham is a Black and queer writer, poet, performer, and visual artist. He is the author of four novels, including Delicious Foods (Little, Brown and Company, 2015), which won both the PEN/Faulkner Award and the Hurston/Wright Legacy Award in 2016. A Guggenheim Fellow, he is a professor and lives in Brooklyn, New York.
