Indran Amirthanayagam

Indran Amirthanayagam is a Sri Lankan-American poet, essayist, and translator. He studied English literature at Haverford College, and has an MA in Journalism from Columbia University. Amirthanayagam writes poetry and essays in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Haitian Creole. The recipient of a Paterson Poetry Prize, he is a decorated diplomat in the U.S. Foreign Service, and based in Rockville, Maryland.
