Huy Tưởng is the pen name for Đức Hiệp Nguyễn. He was born on January 25, 1945, in Kon-Tum and attended Văn Khoa University in Saigon, where he studied philosophy. He is the author of numerous poetry collections, including những âm màu xô giạt [the tinted notes criss-cross] (Kinh Thi, 2018).
