Hua Xi

Hua Xi is a poet and artist. Her poems have appeared in The New Yorker, The Paris Review, The Nation, and The New Republic, among other publications. In addition to receiving a 2023–25 Wallace Stegner Fellowship at Stanford University, Xi was the recipient of both a 2023 Creative Writing Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts, the 2023 Eavan Boland Award, and the 2025 Oxford Poetry Prize. 

Xi lives in Brooklyn, New York.
