David Campos

David Campos is a Chicano writer and earned his BA in English from California State University, Fresno, and his MFA in creative writing and writing for performing arts from University of California, Riverside.

Campos is the author of the poetry collections American Quasar (Red Hen Press, 2021) and Furious Dusk (University of Notre Dame Press, 2015), winner of the 2014 Andrés Montoya Poetry Prize. A CantoMundo fellow, Campos lives in Clovis, California, on the traditional lands of the Yokuts and Mono peoples.
