Darrel Alejandro Holnes

Darrel Alejandro Holnes is the Panamanian American author of Migrant Psalms (Northwestern University Press, 2021) and STEPMOTHERLAND (Notre Dame Press, 2021), winners of the Andres Montoya Poetry Prize and the Drinking Gourd Poetry Prize, respectively.

Currently living in New York City, Holnes is an assistant professor of creative writing and dramatic writing at Medgar Evers College (CUNY) and teaches at New York University.
