Danielle Emerson

Danielle Emerson is finishing up her senior year at Brown University, where she is concentrating in education studies and the literary arts. Emerson is Diné from the Navajo Nation in Shiprock, New Mexico. She is the winner of the 2022 Aliki Perroti and Seth Frank Most Promising Young Poet Award for her poem “shíma yazhí ahéheeʼ / thank you, auntie.”
