Daniel Moysaenko

Daniel Moysaenko is a Ukrainian American poet, translator, and critic. He holds an MFA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a PhD in poetry from Florida State University. 

Moysaenko is the author of Overtakelessness (Graywolf, 2026), which was selected by Alberto Ríos as the winner of the 2025 Academy of American Poets First Book Award. His work has also appeared in The Nation, Poetry, The Poetry Review, The Iowa Review, Harvard Review, and Chicago Review. 

Moysaenko lives in Ohio’s Chagrin Valley.
