Cindy Juyoung Ok

Cindy Juyoung Ok is the author of the poetry collection Ward Toward (Yale University Press, 2024), a finalist for both the Los Angeles Times Book Prize and the 2025 California Book Award. She is also the translator of The Hell of that Star by Kim Hyesoon (Wesleyan University Press, 2026).

Ok, who is a winner of a 2024 Forward Prize, is an assistant professor of English at the University of California, Davis.
