C. E. Biddulph

Cuthbert Edward Biddulph was a translator and official of the Indian Civil Service who specialized in Central Asian and Afghan affairs. He served in the Second Anglo-Afghan War on the side of the British, and held various posts in British India. His works include Our Western Frontier of India (Waterlow Bros. & Layton, 1886), Afghan Politics (Waterlow Bros. & Layton, 1890), and Afghan Poetry of the Seventeenth Century (Kegan Paul, Trench, Trübner & Co., 1890). He died in 1899.
