Beth Bachmann
Beth Bachmann was born in Philadelphia and holds degrees from Concordia University and Johns Hopkins University. She is the author of Do Not Rise (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2015), winner of the Poetry Society of America’s Alice Day di Castagnola Award, and Temper (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2008), which won the AWP Donald Hall Poetry Prize and the Kate Tufts Discovery Award. She teaches creative writing at Vanderbilt University.
