Asiya Wadud

Asiya Wadud is the author of choral, or (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2025), Mandible Wishbone Solvent (University of Chicago Press, 2024), and No Knowledge Is Complete Until It Passes Through My Body (Nightboat Books, 2021). Wadud's work can also be found in various journals and magazines, including Interlude Docs, POETRY, e-flux journal, BOMB Magazine. 

Her work has been supported by the Jan Michalski Foundation, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Danspace Project, Finnish Cultural Institute of New York, Madhouse Helsinki, Beirut Arts Center and Kunstenfestivaldesarts, among other organizations. 

Wadud lives in New York City, where she teaches poetry at Saint Ann’s School and Columbia University.
