Angelika Brewer
Angelika Brewer, born on February 3, 1997, is a poet, public speaker, teacher, and writer across different genres. She is the author of the chapbook I Don’t Want to Miss You (self-published, 2017).
A 2017 Ogden Pride Poetry Competition winner, Brewer served as a coach for the Ogden Slam Team in 2017 and a judge at the Poetry Out Loud state slam in 2019. She has been a featured speaker at the Utah Council of Teachers of English Conference, Ogden Pride Festival, Utah Arts Festival, Ogden Arts Festival, and other events. She founded the Ogden Ar(t)chives Mailbox, which archives submissions from Ogden residents and visitors.
Brewer lives in Ogden, where she serves as poet laureate. In 2024, she received an Academy of American Poets Laureate Fellowship.
