Amergin Glúingel

Amergin Glúingel is a legendary poet-druid of Irish mythology, said to have chanted this invocation upon first setting foot in Ireland with the Milesians, the mythical ancestors of the Irish people.

The poem attributed to him survives anonymously in Old Irish in the eleventh-century Lebor Gabála Érenn (The Book of Invasions of Ireland), preserved in the Book of Leinster.
