Agnes Blake Poor

Agnes Blake Poor was a writer, translator, and teacher, who is considered to be the first translator of Brazilian poetry into English. She is the author of Boston Neighbours: In Town and Out (G. P. Putnam’s Sons, 1898) and Pan-American Poems (The Gorham Press, 1918). She died on February 28, 1922.
