Abe Louise Young
Abe Louise Young holds an MFA in Poetry from the University of Texas at Austin, where she was a James Michener Fellow and a Beinecke Scholar. She is the author of three poetry chapbooks: Poem for a Friend Growing Lighter and Lighter (Dancing Girl Press, 2018); Heaven to Me (Headmistress Press, 2016); and Ammonite (Magnolia Press Collective, 2011).
Her awards include the Grolier Poetry Prize, a story contest prize from Narrative magazine, and the Marica and Jan Vilcek Prize for Poetry from Bellevue Literary Review. Originally from New Orleans, Young lives in Austin.
