Cheryl Boyce-Taylor

Cheryl Boyce-Taylor holds a master’s degree in social work from Fordham University and an MFA in creative writing from Stonecoast program at the University of Southern Maine.

Boyce-Taylor is is the author of five poetry collections, including Mama Phife Represents (Haymarket Books, 2021), winner of the 2022 Audre Lorde Award for Lesbian Poetry, and Arrival (Triquarterly Books, 2017). A finalist for the 2018 Paterson Poetry Prize and a VONA fellow, she lives in Brooklyn, New York.
