In 2018 the Academy of American Poets invited twelve award-winning poets to serve as guest editors of Poem-a-Day, the original and only series publishing new work by poets daily. Each guest editor curated the weekdays of one month of the year, bringing to the series different editorial and poetic perspectives, and widening the circle of poets introduced to readers.
