Dear Khaled Mattawa,

From the moment I read your poem “Ecclesiastes” I was amazed. It has so many different things it is talking about yet to me they all come together to become a great poem. I really like the last part where you talk about people searching for their tribe and you don’t care if you ever find it, it just matters that you believe that you can. To me that represents believing in yourself and doing things yourself which I think is really important. I think this is important because I think people need to experience things for themselves, instead of letting people do it for them.

You have inspired me to write poems of my own. I enjoy writing limericks and free verses. I like to make my poems tell a story of sorts. Writing poems is very fun for me because they can be about anything you can think of. You can just let your imagination run free and just start writing.

I also want to know a couple things about you and your poem. I was wondering what inspired you to write this poem? I would also like to know what is the poem in a whole to you, because I’m just really interested in this poem and you? I really liked this poem and have read it a lot. I want to write more poems in the future and keep on reading other people’s poems.
