Dear Anne Waldman,
You look intense and expressive. Your poem is scary when you read because your voice keeps on going up and down and up and down. This doesn’t remind me of anything in my life. I like this part because it was awesome: “I’m a fast speaking woman,” because it tells me that I can do anything. What inspired you to be a poet? How old were you when you realized you wanted to be a poet? If you weren’t a poet what would you want to be? I noticed when you were reading you like to express yourself when you read, and I like that about you.
