The Gloucester Lyceum & Sawyer Free Public Library has created "Poetry Without Paper," a poetry contest for youth. Students living in Gloucester, Massachusetts, are invited to submit poetry on any theme for a chance to be published online and a cash prize.

WITS Poet-trees
The Writers in the Schools Alliance (WITS Alliance) has partnered with local artists and organizations to transform trees into “poet-trees” throughout downtown Houston during National Poetry Month. Trees are located at Discovery Green, Buffalo Bayou Park, East End Esplanade on Navigation, and the Houston Public Library on Heights Boulevard.
