Free and open to all writers, Write Across Nebraska, sponsored by the Nebraska Writers Guild, is a weekend retreat intended to motivate attendees to write as much as possible. The goal of the event is to have writers write as much as they can over the span of one weekend, state-wide and even across the country (participants can submit their word counts through an online form) in order to foster a sense of fun and creativity with the written word.
