There are more poetry events taking place across the United States than ever before. Beginning today, we'll spotlight one upcoming poetry event we find especially engaging, innovative, and inspiring. Our first #PoetryNearYou Pick of the Week is "A Poetry Reading by Aracelis Girmay, and More." This free event is hosted by Art Yard in Frenchtown, New Jersey and will also feature poet John Smith, the Sister Cities Girlchoir, and multimedia artist Elsda Mora.
