Angel Nafis

Angel Nafis is a Black, queer, Muslim poet and the author of BlackGirl Mansion (Red Beard Press, 2012).

The recipient of a Jerome Hill Artists Fellowship, a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, a Ruth Lilly and Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Fellowship, a Hawthornden Foundation Residency, and a Cave Canem Fellowship, Nafis lives in Brooklyn, New York.
