Poetic People Power has been combining art and social change for 15 years. The group uses the expressive art of poetry to educate and engage audiences about timely social and political issues affecting our society. In this show, the group turns its attention to the injustices and human rights violations happening around the world including sex trafficking in New York City, government sanctioned killings in the Philippines, the food crisis in Venezuela, and the war on women's bodies in the Congo.
