Rivka Galchen is the author of the the novel Atmospheric Disturbances and the story collection American Innovations: Stories, both New York Times Best books of the Year. Her most recent title is the nonfiction work Little Labors (New Directions, 2016). zakia henderson-brown, a 2016 Poets House Emerging Poets fellow, has received fellowships from Fine Arts Work Center, Callaloo, and Cave Canem. Winner of the 2017 PSA Chapbook Fellowship, her chapbook What Kind of Omen Am I, selected by Cate Marvin, will be published in the spring. Chinelo Okparanta is the author of the story collection Happiness, Like Water and the novel Under the Udala Trees (Houghton Mifflin, 2015).
