Stuart Kestenbaum and Susan Webster at Cove Street Arts

Please join Cove Street Arts for a public talk (via Zoom) between Susan Webster and Stuart Kestenbaum about their new exhibition. The exhibit will feature framed copies of Kestenbaum's newest book of erasure poem, things seemed to be breaking, showcasing Kestenbaum's and Webster's collaborative works along with a new, large installation of Webster's.

Stuart Kestenbaum is the author of six collections of poems, most recently things seemed to be breaking (Deerbrook Editions 2021), and a collection of essays The View from Here (Brynmorgen Press). He was the host of the Maine Public Radio program Poems from Here and the host/curator of the podcasts Make/Time and Voices of the Future. He's completing his five-year term as Maine's poet laureate this year.

Susan Webster is an artist and printmaker from Boothbay Harbor, Maine. Webster was artist in residence at the Maine Correctional Center where she created art programs for the incarcerated. She is a helpline volunteer for Next Step which is a member organization of the Maine Coalition to End Domestic Violence.
