Nebraska State Poet Jewel Rodgers will present at Northeast Community College as part of the Visiting Writers Series. Rodgers is a 2025 Academy of American Poets Fellowship recipient and interdisciplinary performer whose work blends poetry, storytelling, and placemaking. She has toured nationally for more than a decade and has been recognized through multiple awards and fellowships. The event is coordinated by English instructor Bonnie Johnson-Bartee.
