Curated by the Guggenheim’s Poet-in-Residence Taylor Johnson, Spirit of Structure brings together artist Diedrick Brackens and Kameelah Janan Rasheed to discuss the stages of making creative work. In a conversation moderated by Johnson the panelists will unpack the personal rituals and generative architectures they use to translate projects from work in progress to final product.
This panel is part of a series of conversations conceptualized by Johnson that brings poets in dialogue with practitioners from various fields, highlighting a cross-pollination between different disciplines to explore topics such as movement, sound, and architecture.
This program is free and will be available to stream virtually beginning on November 16. Register to receive a tune-in reminder.
Presented by the Guggenheim Poet-in-Residence in association with the Academy of American Poets.
