The Space City Slam Series will culminate on Sunday, April 8th at Discovery Green on the Fondren Performance Space. Please join us as we watch and cheer on the top youth poets in our city as they compete to join the Meta-Four Houston Team. The top 6 winners of the Space City Grand Slam will represent Houston at Brave New Voices in July 2018, receiving free travel, meals, and accommodations. Past team members have gone on to receive college scholarships, internships, and to become creative forces in the Houston poetry scene.
