Our Spring 2018 Provocation series features award-winning poet and activist Layli Long Soldier, who will read from her recent collection Whereas (Graywolf Press, 2017), accompanied by visuals/footage, as well as share new collaborative works. Following her reading, Long Soldier will engage in a discussion about process, collaboration and working with the voices of community; that is, writing beyond the alone.
Co-sponsored by the Woodberry Poetry Room and the Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts, with special thanks to the Radcliffe Institute and the Harvard University Native American Program.
