Pop-up Poetry Reading at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum

Join Anaïs Duplan, S*an D. Henry-Smith, and Ra Malika Imhotep during the museum’s Pay-What-You-Wish hours on September 17 as they each deliver short readings of poems that respond to the Guggenheim’s architecture, exhibitions, and collections. This program is part of a series of pop-up readings taking place on select Saturdays throughout the year. Each reading brings together a group of poets to contemplate the museum as a “temple of spirit,” while offering visitors the opportunity to experience poetry in unexpected moments and places.

Free with museum admission. Pay-What-You-Wish tickets for September 17 will be released on Monday, September 12, at 12 pm. Please note that space is limited and museum admission does not guarantee entry to the reading.

Presented by the Guggenheim Poet-in-Residence in association with the Academy of American Poets. Made possible by Van Cleef & Arpels.
