Nicole Cooley is a poet and non-fiction writer and the author of eight books: five books of poems, a chapbook, a novel, and an artist’s book. Her newest collection Girl after Girl after Girl was just published by LSU Press in 2017, and her book Of Marriage comes out with Alice James Books in 2018. Essay Press published her digital chapbook Frozen Charlottes, A Sequence last year. Her poetry and non-fiction has appeared most recently in The Atlantic, The Rumpus, Narrative, and Drunken Boat. She is a professor of English and the director of the MFA Program in Creative Writing and Literary Translation at Queens College - City University of New York.
Roger Sedarat, an Iranian-American poet and translator, is the author of four poetry collections: Dear Regime: Letters to the Islamic Republic, which won Ohio UP’s 2007 Hollis’ Summers’ Prize, Ghazal Games (Ohio UP, 2011), Foot Faults: Tennis Poems (David Robert Books, 2016), and Haji as Puppet: an Orientalist Burlesque, which won the 2016 Word Works’ Tenth Gate Prize for a Mid-Career Poet. He is a recipient of the Willis Barnstone Prize in Literary Translation, and his renderings of classical and modern Persian verse have appeared in such journals as Poetry, World Literature Today, and Brooklyn Rail. The co-author and translator of Nature and Nostalgia in the Poetry of Nader Naderpour (Cambria, 2017), he teaches poetry and translation in the MFA Program at Queens College - City University of New York.
