#PoetryNearYou Pick of the Week: A Reading by Amanda Johnston & Desiree Evans

Join award-winning poet Amanda Johnston as she reads from her first full-length collection, Another Way To Say Enter, on Saturday, February 10, 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., at Prizer Arts & Letters in Austin, Texas. Johnston will be joined by writer, multi-media journalist, and human rights activist Desiree Evans.

Amanda Johnston is the author of Another Way to Say Enter (Argus House Press, 2017). She teaches in the Stonecoast MFA program at the University of Southern Maine, is a cofounder of Black Poets Speak Out, and is a founding executive director of TORCH Literary Arts. She lives in Austin, Texas.
