Celebrate National Poetry Month with a poetry reading at the West Hollywood City Council Chambers! Red Hen Press author and former West Hollywood City Poet Laureate Kim Dower will be reading from her forthcoming poetry collection, Sunbathing on Tyrone Power's Grave. Beacon Press author and Inaugural Poet for Barack Obama Richard Blanco will read from his forthcoming collection, How to Love a Country.
Following the reading and conversation, there will be a book-signing with books available for sale by Book Soup and a reception hosted by the Friends of the West Hollywood Library.
