Bloedel Reserve, an internationally renowned public garden on Bainbridge Island, welcomes the return of inspirational, healing, and thought-provoking poetry along the trails in celebration of Poetry Month. Curated by Linda Bierds, David Guterson, and Laura Counsel, 13 panels found throughout the 12 distinct gardens, prompt visitors to pause, take notice, and experience the garden through a new lens. To honor W.S. Merwin’s 90th birthday and his contributions to literature and environmentalism, you will find a sprinkling of his work throughout the garden.
