Poetry Flash presents Dan Gerber and Joseph Stroud

Dan Gerber's new book of poems is Particles: New & Selected Poems. Jim Harrison said, "[Dan Gerber's] work is completely untarnished by fad or fashion and I enter it again and again with a sense of wonderment. When our age passes, this work will remain." He has published eight previous collections, as well as three novels, a collection of short stories, and two books of nonfiction. His honors include a ForeWord magazine Book of the Year Award in Poetry, Michigan Author Award, and the Mark Twain Award.

Joseph Stroud's latest collection is Of This World: New and Selected Poems. Jane Hirshfield says, "One the finest collections of poems I've read in years—intelligent, sensuous, moving, full of insight." Author of numerous previous collections, he has received a Pushcart Prize, had his poems featured on National Public radio, and been awarded a Witter Bynner Fellowship from the Library of Congress.
