for an all-ages Open Mic Poetry Night
to Celebrate the Love of Poetry!
If you like great poetry this is your night!!!
Time is reserved early in the program for younger children to read or recite their favorite poems (that way parents will not have to keep them out to late).
Registration is not required to take part in reading.
There will be a poetry book display for those who become suddenly inspired to step up to the mic.
Performances are limited to 5 minutes (you can do one long poem or a few shorter poems).
Come along and celebrate all things Library by reading your own work or the work of someone who has inspired you!!!
