Join poets Ellen Grace O’Brian and Parthenia Kavita Hicks for an evening of poetry that weaves the spiritual and the personal, observes longing, grief, and absolute joy as co-existing states, and explores Pierre Teilhard de Chardin’s belief that “we are not human beings having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a human experience."
Doors open at 6:30 pm and performance begins at 7:00 pm. Affordable wine, beer, and soda will be available. An open mic will follow the performance.
