Highland Park Poetry welcomes Chicago’s Poetry Power couple - Jenene Ravesloot & Tom Roby IV - in a spectacular double feature. Both Jenene and Tom are widely published in journals and with multiple collections between them. Jenene’s newest collection is Sliders. Together with musician Lem Roby they form the Omniphonic Trio. Tom is also known for developing The Poetry Wheel through the Poet’s Club of Chicago.
Our regular open-mic immediately follows their reading. Poets may bring up to six poems to share and everyone is welcome to enjoy the word magic in the funky vibe of Madame ZuZu’s.
